The month-long tour constitutes three tournaments: Perth International Badminton Tournament [4 8 September], South Australian International Badminton Tournament [12 15 September] and Sydney International Badminton Tournament [18 22 September].
Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF), Secretary, Wajid Ali Chaudhry said a total of 35 to 40 international teams would participate in the prestigious event to be held here at the Pakistan Sports Complex from November 7 to 11.
Naqi was also PBF secretary and vice-president of Badminton Asia and Development Badminton Asia For South East Asia.
”The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) made an offer but for the time being I want to spend time with my family.
“The POA chief said that late Naqi Mohsin, who was a former national badminton champion rendered meritorious services for the cause of badminton in different roles as a former secretary, PBF, Vice President Badminton Asia and Vice President Development Badminton Asia for South East Asia and his services for the cause of the game as a player as well as an outstanding promoter of badminton in Pakistan and Asia will always be remembered,” said Muhammad Khalid Mehmood, Secretary, POA, here on Friday.
