The International Swimming League announced details for its second season that will take place in October in Budapest, Hungary, as all of the eight returning teams made adjustments to their rosters. We wanted to ask our audience what the most intriguing new addition was to the ISL.

American Matt Grevers is joining the reigning champs Energy Standard after swimming year one with the LA Current. He will be joined alongside newcomers Pernille Blume, Danas Rapsys and Siobhan Haughey as the two women will be training in Turkey with James Gibson and company. But Grevers joining the already stacked international team came as a surprise.

East Bay beaches: Most beaches in East Bay remain closed. In some parks, beaches are accessible by foot or by bike.

Orange County beaches: The Governor of California announced that ALL beaches and all state parks in Orange County will be closed, effective Friday, 1 May 2020. This will be in effect indefinitely,. Swim Guide will update the state wide and county wide beach closure information frequently.
Under order from the Governor local governments can’t ease stay-at-home orders to be less strict than the statewide restrictions.
