Drexel Hires Nathan Lavery as Head Coach of Swimming & Diving Teams

Drexel Thursday announced the hiring of Nathan Lavery as head coach of the team’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams.

Lavery, a native of South Africa, spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at TCU. He led the Horned Frogs’ sprint and stroke contingents, helping TCU’s men’s and women’s team each finish third at the Big 12 championships last year.

“I am truly humbled and honored to have the opportunity to lead Drexel University Swimming and Diving,” Lavery said in a university statement. “My wife Amy and I are thrilled to be a part of this great institution and what it stands for.
